Gas Industry

Maybole to Girvan Pipeline

Working alongside Alder Ecology UK Ltd, we carried out a wide range of surveys along the route of a planned pipeline in west Scotland.

We undertook habitat surveys, including hedgerows, woodland, waterbodies and grassland, as well as species surveys for barn owls, otters, water voles, bats and great crested newts.

Inland gas rigs

The installation and operation of inland gas rigs requires full consideration of ecological impacts.

Our work has involved the provision of all ecological services for gas rig sites in Lancashire and Yorkshire, including:

Habitat surveys, including hedgerows, field margins, waterbodies and woodland
Surveys for water voles, bats and great crested newts
Lighting assessments for impacts on bats
Preparation of full ecological assessments
